How it works
Thermal paper has a chemical coating that turns black through heat. A marker covers that coating on top only and still shines through, especially on glossy labels. This roller reacts chemically with the coating itself and blackens the text from the inside out. Front, back, against the light: unreadable.

The chemical reaction is specific to thermal paper (receipts, parcel labels, some bank statements). On plain white paper the ink layer covers the text, but a marker also covers it. For parcel labels and receipts, this is the difference between readable and unreadable.
How long does one bottle last?
About 150 to 200 uses per 10ml bottle. With daily parcels, that's five to seven months of normal use.
How safe is the blade?
The blade slides in and out with a click. When closed it's fully tucked away in the roller. Safe for the kitchen drawer, even with children at home.
